By accepting a quotation, making payment, or engaging the services of The Kitchen Wrap Company (“the Company”), the Client agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
These Terms govern all kitchen wrapping, cabinet refurbishment, installation services, and related work performed by the Company.
1. Scope of Work
Cupboards (carcasses and doors) are wrapped on the outside surfaces only, unless the Client specifically requests internal wrapping. Internal wrapping will be charged as an additional service, calculated per square meter or surface area to be wrapped.
2. Payment Terms
A 60% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation.
A progress payment of 20% is due upon delivery of materials and commencement of work.
The remaining 20% balance is payable on completion of the project (Cash on Delivery / Completion – COD).
Once the deposit has been received, materials will be allocated or ordered and the Client’s booking will be secured.
3. Cancellation Policy
Should the Client cancel the order after payment of the deposit, a handling fee of 35% of the total order value will apply.
Any remaining balance of the deposit, after deduction of the handling fee, will be refunded where applicable.
4. Project Start Timeline
Work will commence within 5 to 17 working days from receipt of the deposit. Specific start dates and timelines will be communicated directly with the Client.
5. Quotation Validity
This quotation is valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
6. Phased Work and Additional Charges
Prices may change if work is completed in phases, as this may affect material, labor, and logistical costs.
If the work on this quotation is not completed as a single project, additional call-out charges may apply. All such charges will be communicated to the Client in advance.
7. Measurements and Surface Areas
This quotation is based on dimensions and surface areas provided by the Client.
Any additional surface areas not included in the original quotation will be charged as an extra cost.
Final measurements will be taken by The Kitchen Wrap Company on-site before work commences.
8. Site Conditions
The Company is unable to perform work during active construction or renovation phases. Dust, debris, and site conditions may negatively impact installation quality and workmanship standards.
9. Repairs and Structural Condition
Repairs to damaged carcasses, cupboard doors, hinges, or structures are not included in this quotation and will be charged separately where required.
10. Call-Out Fees and Small Orders
Call-out fees must be paid 100% upfront, separate from the service price.
All orders with a total value below R6,000.00 must be paid in full upfront to secure the booking.
11. Ownership of Materials
All goods and materials supplied by The Kitchen Wrap Company remain the property of the Company until paid for in full.
12. Installation Scheduling
The installation date will be communicated to the Client in advance.
If the Client needs to change the scheduled installation date, the Company must be notified at least one day prior to the installation date.
If The Kitchen Wrap Company needs to change the installation date, the Client will be notified at least one day in advance.
If the Client is unavailable or unable to provide access to the premises on the agreed installation date, a call-out fee of R1,500.00 will be charged to the Client’s account.
13. Content Usage Permission and Client Authorization
By engaging The Kitchen Wrap Company, the Client grants permission for the Company to use any content created during the project.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Portfolio Showcase
Displaying completed work on the Company website and in digital or printed portfolios.
Social Media Usage
Sharing project content on social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
Marketing and Promotional Materials
Featuring project content in brochures, advertisements, presentations, case studies, and promotional campaigns.
If the Client does not wish for their project to be featured, written notice must be provided before work commences.
14. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of any deposit, progress payment, or full amount constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
